Creo+: Power and Collaboration in the Cloud

Creo+ combines the power and functionality of Creo with cloud-based collaboration and license management tools. This Software as a Service (SaaS) product offers real-time collaboration features, enabling multiple team members to review, explore, and edit assembly designs. Additionally, Creo+ provides cloud-based desktop tools for streamlined license management, deployment, and telemetry services, simplifying the CAD workflow.

Advanced Design Capabilities

Creo 10 introduces several advanced design capabilities that cater to specific industry requirements.

  • Composites Design and Manufacturing: Designing with composite materials becomes easier with Creo 10. New features allow for the creation of plies and cores, the simulation of draping and composite structures, and the manufacturing of drapes and flat patterns. Automated ply book creation and digital work instructions enhance efficiency in the manufacturing process.
  • Design for Electrification: It offers improved design tools to facilitate the creation, management, collaboration, and reuse of harness and sub-harness assemblies. ECAD capabilities have been extended to meet the demands of industries focusing on electrification.
  • Design for Ergonomics: Taking into account the uniqueness of users, it enables designers to consider factors such as movement range and field of vision. Improved manikins and libraries provide better control and reach envelopes, while the Visual Field feature performs reflective analysis.
  • Model-Based Definition (MBD) and Detailing: It enhances model-based definition tools with updates to annotations in the 3D model. Usability, productivity, and compliance to standards are improved with related symbols, surface finishes, streamlined GD&T workflows, and enhanced EZ Tolerance functionality.
  • Simulation-Driven Design and Generative Design: It focuses on enhancing simulation-driven and generative design capabilities. Creo Ansys Simulation Advanced analyzes nonlinear contact and materials, combining thermal and structural analysis. Creo Simulation Live now offers contact simulation options and improved fluid and structural results. Generative design benefits from new features like rotational symmetry, mass point constraints, and remote loads.
  • Advances in Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing: It introduces improvements for both additive and traditional manufacturing. New beam-based and formula-driven lattices enhance additive manufacturing, while high-speed milling saves machining time by supporting barrel tools on specialized NC sequences.
