The Advanced Engineering Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham was an incredible experience! As one of the top events in our field, it brought together innovators, industry leaders, and big thinkers—all focused on pushing engineering and PLM solutions forward. We were so excited to be part of it, showcasing PLM Central’s latest offerings and connecting with partners and clients who are just as eager as we are to shape the future of engineering management.
Our stand was buzzing from the moment the doors opened, with a steady stream of visitors and industry professionals stopping by to check out what we had to offer. It was amazing to see how much genuine interest there is in how PLM can simplify the tough stuff and help businesses grow. The energy around us was such a great reminder of why we love what we do—because we’re just as passionate about driving innovation as the people who share our vision for where this industry is headed.
A key highlight of our exhibition was our Howden’s Augmented Reality (AR) prop, designed to transform how teams visualize and interact with product data. We demonstrated the power of immersive technology in driving efficiency, precision, and collaboration across the product lifecycle. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many visitors expressing excitement about AR’s potential to improve product design, training, and maintenance workflows within PLM frameworks.
Another highlight was our demo on Creo composite materials, showing how they’re shaking things up by making products stronger and lighter. It sparked some great discussions about how easily these materials can work with PLM systems, making the whole product development process smoother and more efficient. The buzz was unreal —people were excited about the possibilities and how these innovations could take design and innovation to the next level.
Looking back on an incredibly successful exhibition, we’re excited to carry this momentum forward. Here’s to driving the next generation of engineering solutions!
